1. Delta Touch Faucet Solenoid Not Working

If your Delta touch faucet solenoid is not working, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the issue. Here are some possible causes and solutions:

i) Check the battery pack: If the LED light on the base of the faucet is not flashing, it could be due to low battery power. Replace the batteries with new ones and make sure they are oriented correctly

If your Delta touch faucet is not working after battery replacement the reasons could be low battery (red light indication), the battery isn’t properly inserted, the sensor and handle cable in contact or solenoid valve malfunction. 

How To Fix: 

Follow the below steps in the correct order to fix this issue:

i) Batteries not properly inserted: Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly, with the positive and negative ends in the right position

ii) Solenoid valve issue: If you replaced the batteries, but the LED red light is still flashing, then the solenoid valve could be to blame. iii) Sensor and handle cable in contact: Check that the cable of the touch sensor and that of the handle are not in contact.

Low Water Pressure: Over time, mineral deposits or debris can accumulate and affect the water flow and affect the functionality of the Tempsense feature. Clean the faucet head and any filters to remove any buildup that might be interfering with the functionality.

• Power Issue: Ensure that the faucet has a stable power source. If your faucet operates on batteries, make sure they are fresh and properly installed. If the faucet is connected to an outlet, verify that the power is reaching the faucet and that the outlet is functioning correctly.

• Faulty Tempsense indicator: If the Tempsense indicator is faulty it won’t be able to detect and show the correct temperature. In that case, contact a professional to get it replaced.

6. Delta Faucet Blue Light Not Working

Delta faucet has two different light indicators: red and blue. The blue light indicates that the system is operating correctly. A slightly red light indicates low batteries and may require replacement soon.

A fully red light means that the batteries are fully depleted and must be replaced immediately.

7. Delta Touch Faucet Turns On By Itself

For faucets manufactured before February 2009, there is a possibility that the grounding clips might not have been installed correctly. 

To ensure their proper functioning, it’s important to check if they are in their designated positions and securely fastened with tape, avoiding any displacement caused by regular use. Additionally, make sure to verify that the faucet has proper grounding.

Regardless of the year your faucet was manufactured, there is another potential reason why it may be turning on and off on its own. It’s possible that the faucet is in electrical contact with the sink.

• Ensure that the components insulating the spout are in place
• Check that the mounting shank or wires are not touching the sink’s Mounting hole or any other metal surfaces. 
• Make sure that the wires are not in contact with any other power sources.

Note: The faucet has an automatic shut-off feature. In kitchens, it will shut off after 4 minutes of inactivity, while in lavatories, it will shut off after 1 minute.

• For lavatory faucets specifically, it’s necessary to change the drain to the provided non-conductive pop-up. 
• Ensure that the wires connected to the spout sense and LED are not intermittently touching any metal parts beneath the sink.

8. Only Part Of The Touch Area Is Working

Your Delta touch faucet may not respond to touch or have limited functionality. It’s a common issue people face with Delta faucets. Here are some common reasons behind this problem:

• Faulty wiring: Your Delta Touch might have one touch sensor that works and another that is unresponsive. The wiring beneath the sink is usually to blame when this occurs.
