A few years back, one day James Hill found his bathroom shower valve wasn’t supplying hot water. He was looking for a local plumber to fix it but in vain.

As he had a fascination with using tools and repairing appliances, he took his wrench at hand and opened the shower valve. And after a long investigation, he found the cartridge was the culprit. The cartridge got stuck to the cold inlet side.
Also, he found rust and mineral deposits blocked the cartridge, and stuck it. So, it was failing to move. He cleaned the cartridge using vinegar mixed water mixture and reinstalled it. And surprisingly, he found the valve was supplying hot water.
From then on, whatever problems he found with his toilet, bathroom, and kitchen fixtures, he tried to fix them by himself taking help from Google or his local plumbers, and most of the time he succeeded.
Whenever he failed, he got advice from his local professional plumber and he could fix the issue. Thus, for the last few years, he himself installed and repaired all his small appliances related to the kitchen, bathroom, toilet, heating, and cooling system.
Sometimes, he could help a few of his neighbors and relatives to repair or install their appliances.
After 7 years later, one insight hits his sense. In the beginning, whenever he sat to fix any issue with his appliances, he first googled to get help. Then, he noticed that a huge number of people like him were struggling with home appliance problems and looking for solutions. But, frustratingly, there was a little helpful resource.
From that experience, he began to feel that he could help those people who are struggling with their home appliance issues by writing his experiences on a blog.
From that idea, he started his blog HomeUpgradeLab.com. Here he shares his experience, and how he could fix the trouble with his different appliances.
Hopefully, after reading his guide, you will be capable of fixing your appliance issues.
